Special Education Teachers- Anticipated Positions2 Elementary Teachers - Special Class 8:1:1 or 12:1:11 Secondary Teacher - Special Class (12:1:1) (middle school)Responsibilities: Prepare lessons and create materials geared towards the maintenance of individual skills as outlined on the students' IEPsUtilize data to plan for instruction Maintain regular contact with each family/parentCommunicate with supervisors as neededSupervise and collaborate with program teaching assistant or aideAttend ESY orientation and meetings Special class experience preferred Qualifications:Special Education Certification (K-12, B-2 or 1-6) Experience teaching in a special class environment Ethnically, culturally, and linguistically diverse candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
