DESCRIPTION: Inspirational Voices - Sponsor
The Homewood-Flossmoor Inspirational Voices is an extracurricular vocal ensemble and service organization that enriches its members and the Homewood-Flossmoor community through the performance of music rooted in African American singing traditions. Repertoire selected for this ensemble includes spirituals, traditional and contemporary gospel, jazz, and rhythm and blues.
The Inspirational Voices will perform at the H-F Choir Concerts on campus, which includes the Fall and Winter Choral Concerts. Additional performance opportunities include:
? Performances for community events and area nursing homes (announced in calendar)
? Performances for middle school students
? Black History Month Assembly
? Clinics with Chicago-area churches and performances featuring other choirs.
