The AMNH Museum Archives, housed in the Gottesman Research Library, is seeking a full-time Anthropology in Museum Archives Project Archivist for one year.
In collaboration with Archives and other Museum staff, the Project Archivist will lead an effort to pilot a survey of non-published Anthropology-related materials stored at the Museum's Research Library.
The pilot survey will provide an opportunity to begin to enrich the material's foundational description, review collection metadata and better define how the materials may connect to other related archival collections.
The expected salary range for the Anthropology in Museum Archives Project Archivist is $65,000/annual - $70,000/annual.
