Position Overview:
We are seeking a Logistics & Support Specialist with experience as a Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in Santa Barbara. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact at our Santa Barbara AIS and coordinate logistics between our Santa Barbara and neighboring sites in Santa Maria, Camarillo, and Ventura.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact between the sales team and operational departments to address and resolve inquiries and concerns efficiently.
Assist in onboarding new patients by coordinating with operations to ensure timely and accurate exchange of information.
Track and manage sales leads, referrals, and progress through internal systems, ensuring all relevant parties are informed and updated.
Support the sales team with operational insights, including updates on inventory, scheduling, and patient flow.
Facilitate the timely delivery of materials and resources needed for field sales activities.
Track and manage inventory for infusion medications and supplies.
Receive and properly store medications shipped from our central headquarters in accordance with all regulatory and company protocols.
Collaborate with operations to identify and resolve service delays impacting patient care or sales efforts.
Prepare reports and metrics on sales performance, operational efficiencies, and patient onboarding timelines.
Maintain industry compliance with facility safety, medication storage, and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications:
Active license/certification as a Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, or LVN.
Prior experience in an ambulatory infusion center or suite, specialty pharmacy, or logistics role.
Ability to lift boxes of 30 lbs. or less, and handle refrigerated medications with care.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and maintaining relationships.
Proficient in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools, including CPR+.
Knowledge infusion therapy processes.
A bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
