Horticulturist

New Albany Country Club is seeking a Horticulturist to join our turf care maintenance team.

The horticulturist is responsible for a crew of 4-5 to maintain our clubhouse grounds and landscape beds. This hands-on management position requires a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

Oversee landscape maintenance, restoration and design of clubhouse grounds

Trimming and pruning of trees and shrubs

Weed control in landscape beds and club lawns

Mowing and trimming of club lawns

Identify and treat pests and disease

Moisture management of beds and turf

Manage 2 on site greenhouses

Qualifications:

Landscape or horticulture degree

Must have or be able to obtain, an Ohio pesticide license

Team player

Eye for detail

Self-starter who is able to lead a small crew in the day-to-day maintenance of the club grounds.

Salary:

$50,000 - $52,000/year
