Fiber to the Home (FTTH) Installer – Paid Training Available
Location: Memphis, TN
Pay Rate: $20 – $30/hour (based on experience) + Performance Bonus Program

Job Summary
We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds. If you’ve worked with your hands, used tools, or been involved in mechanical, construction, utility, telecommunications, or equipment installation work — you already have skills that can translate into this role. Experience in automotive, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, landscaping, farming, warehouse, or similar fields is also valuable. If you’re willing to learn, we’re willing to train you.
This role includes installing both aerial and underground fiber optic drop cables from the distribution network to residential homes. We take pride in doing things the right way — not the fastest way. This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined candidates who want to work outdoors, master a skilled trade, and grow in a high-demand industry.
Key Responsibilities
Install aerial and direct-bury fiber optic drop cables to residential and small business locations
Operate ladders, climbing gear, trenchers, and boring tools for installations
Mount conduit, hardware, and Fiber NIDs on residential structures
Perform signal testing and troubleshoot pathways as needed
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and utility standards
Work both independently and as part of a field crew in various outdoor conditions
Qualifications (Training Provided)
Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools and outdoor work
Willingness to learn fiber optic installation methods
Prior experience in any hands-on trade or mechanical role is a plus
Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform overhead work
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
