Malaria No More is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Staff Accountant to support our finance team in maintainingaccurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements. Key Responsibilities:
Process and record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense reports
Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a monthly basis
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Maintain and organize financial documentation for audits and internal reviews
Support budget tracking and financial reporting for grants and donor-funded programs
Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist with implementing process improvements
Assist with payroll preparation and benefit reporting as needed
Collaborate with Operations and Development teams on financial tracking and reporting
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2-4 years of relevant experience in nonprofit or general accounting
Proficiency in NetSuiteand Excel; experience with Concur or similar platforms a plus
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Familiarity with nonprofit accounting and restricted fund tracking is preferred
