Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Columbus, OH 43210

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shifts: Night Shift (3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Every other weekend required

Floating to other units within OSU system may be required

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

Epic charting experience required

Travel experience preferred

Previous high-risk obstetric experience strongly preferred

Must be willing to float as needed

Certifications Required:

BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - Required

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - Required

AWHONN Advanced - Preferred

NCC C-EFM - Acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Advanced

Key Skills & Competencies:

IV therapy & phlebotomy

Administering blood products

Use of infusion pumps and IV monitoring

External/Internal Fetal Monitoring (including IUPC & spiral electrode placement)

Care of patients with cesarean section, postpartum hemorrhage, PIH, and multiple births

Pain management (including epidural anesthesia monitoring)

Antepartum and postpartum care

Baby catching and newborn care in delivery room
