Description:
The Assistant Estimator is responsible for projecting costs including materials and labor associated with exterior services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and submit estimate reports or bids to appropriate team members for review.
Receive requests to adjust existing sites and determine how variance should be handled
Collaborate and support the Estimating team with accurate information on approved variances/new proposals during renewal.
Import Approved Budgets into company software
Effectively communicate and work cross functionally with multiple teams to execute customer needs in an accurate and timely manner.
Must possess strong leadership qualities and organizational skills.
Able to work in a deadline driven environment with multiple customer priorities.
Must be comfortable in an ever-changing environment.
Previous estimating experience in construction remodel (refresh/rollout) environment or exterior services preferred.
Self-motivated, reliable and attention to detail a must!Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred or equivalent experience/training.
At least two (2) years’ experience with National Customers interface in an estimating capacity preferred.
High knowledge of landscape and snow removal industry preferred
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Excel, along with working knowledge of other MS Office applications.
Excellent organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and follow-through.
