Position Overview
The Supply Technician II performs technical supply management work including inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization, and Equipment Account Manager duties. This role supports F-16 modifications and refurbishment projects, requiring cross-utilization training and collaboration on a small team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform supply actions including inventorying, tagging, cataloging, ordering, and inspecting parts.
Manage "save list" items prior to airframe disposal and handle TCTO/Modification Kits.
Apply knowledge of supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, and Naval Aviation Supply procedures.
Conduct analytical assessments, define problems, gather facts, and recommend solutions.
Ensure accountability of Composite Tool Kits, Equipment, and Test Equipment.
Maintain and control Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) and ESOH items.
Accurately document supply actions in the NALCOMIS/OOMA automated system.
Support cross-training and duties outside the normal supply field.
Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the Program Manager or Site Manager.
Qualifications
Education & Work Background
High school diploma or equivalent.
U.S. citizenship required.
Valid State Driver's License.
Prior qualified/certified 7-level with minimum 5 years of Aviation Maintenance Supply experience or Air Force/Navy equivalent.
Experience in USN/USMC material control and/or tool room preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
Ability to work effectively in small teams performing F-16 modifications.
Proficiency with NALCOMIS OOMA system within 90 days of hire.
Knowledge of Navy directives and CNAFINST 4790.2 (NAMP).
Strong oral and written communication skills for knowledge transfer.
Ability to perform designated Supply Systems tasks as outlined in Navy and local directives.
Compensation & Benefits
