EF Education First, the world leader in international education, is looking for a passionate, organized, and dedicated Flight Support trainee to join EF’s in-house travel agency. In this role, you will be a member of an energetic, multinational team and report to the Manager of the Flight Support Team for Travel.
Role Overview
As a Flight Support Trainee, you will provide administrative support to the Flight Support Coordinators to improve operational efficiency, review airline penalties, and implement cost-saving best practices. You will collaborate with teams in North America, Europe, and Asia, and with our airline partners. The role focuses on learning core processes, supporting data tasks, and progressively taking on operational responsibilities under guidance.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Support the team with quality control checks and basic data entry to help identify system issues.
Help research and gather documentation for debit memo inquiries, support Flight Support Coordinators with validation tasks.
Run basic data analyses to surface discrepancies and flag them to coordinators or managers.
Maintain accurate departmental records and contribute to monthly reporting workflows.
Participate in team audits and follow-up actions under supervision.
Skills and Requirements
Strong attention to detail and a desire to work with data and processes.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple small tasks daily.
Fluent in English and effective communication skills both written and verbal.
No prior airline or travel industry experience required — willingness to learn is essential.
Must be Panamanian or hold a work permit to work in Panama.
Passion for working in an international environment and multicultural team.
Collaboration and Expectations
Work closely with Flight Support Coordinators to support dispute resolution and documentation.
Learn to navigate GDS systems and support research into airline pricing, fare rules, and restrictions.
Communicate findings clearly to coordinators and suggest improvement ideas when appropriate.
Be adaptable to changing tasks and seasonal volume fluctuations; approach learning with initiative and a positive attitude.
