EF Education First, the world leader in international education, is looking for a passionate, organized, and dedicated Flight Support Coordinator to join EF’s in-house travel agency. In this role, you will be a member of an energetic, multinational team and report to the Manager of the Flight Support Team for Travel.
Role Overview
As a Flight Support Coordinator, you will be part of a team responsible for aiding of Flight Coordinators and Airline Partnership Managers that are responsible for securing flights for all EF Tours’ customers. In your role you will collaborate closely with these teams that are situated in North America, Europe, and Asia as well as with the airlines we work with throughout the industry.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Identify internal and external system issues through quality control checks, manage departmental data, and reconcile monthly airline reports while reporting findings to stakeholders.
Assisting Airline Account Managers with debit memo research and validation of airline-generated memos while collaborating with internal EF Travel teams to resolve disputes.
Analyze data to identify issues and recommend solutions to enhance workflows and optimize operational efficiency.
Skills and Requirements
Demonstrates attention to detail in managing large data and conducting quality control.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple daily tasks.
Fluent in English and effective communication skills both written and verbal.
Experience in the airline, travel, or tourism industry is preferred.
Must be Panamanian or hold a work permit to work in Panama.
Passion for working in an international environment and willingness to occasionally travel.
Collaboration and Expectations
Ability to assist in resolving disputes and issues related to debit memos (penalties) in collaboration with internal teams.
Confidently navigate through GDS systems to research airline pricing, fare rules, and restrictions
Communicate findings and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and conducting audits.
Expected to adapt to changing tasks and priorities in response to fluctuating volume.
