Our team is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the accounting department of a reputable manufacturing client located in Columbus, Texas. Key Responsibilities:
Handle milestone billing for long-term projects, ensuring accurate partial billing as project phases are completed
Utilize Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP in Excel to track billing activity, AR aging, and financial reports
Submit invoices through various customer billing portals, monitor submission status, and follow up as needed
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, ensuring timely collections and compliance with client contracts
Work closely with project managers and finance staff to ensure billing aligns with project progress and terms
Maintain detailed records of AR transactions and support month-end closing activities Requirements:
2-5 years of Accounts Receivable experience, preferably in manufacturing or project-based industries
Demonstrated experience with milestone/project billing
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
Experience working with billing portals (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, or similar systems)
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus Details:
Pay Rate: Up to $28/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours
