Job Summary:
Illuminate USA is seeking an experienced and engaging Learning Facilitator to join our training team at our state-of-the-art facility in Columbus, Ohio. Reporting to the Learning & Delivery Supervisor and part of the broader Talent Management team, this role partners with functional leaders, subject matter experts, and HR business partners to identify training needs, lead program delivery, and enhance learning effectiveness across the organization.
As a skilled facilitator, you'll play a key role in delivering training programs that foster professional growth, support leadership development, and reinforce our culture of continuous learning. Your work will help drive a sustainable learning environment that empowers associates and aligns with our business goals.
This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday supporting multi-shift operations. The scheduled work hours are 12pm-8pm.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate engaging and impactful training sessions, both in-person and virtually, for key associate and leadership roles across multiple shifts
Deliver professional development content in alignment with company objectives and learning strategy
Provide guidance on emerging trends in training delivery and innovation
Collaborate cross-functionally to assess training needs and refine content accordingly
Partner with the learning design team to support the development of effective training materials and programs
Evaluate training outcomes and support continuous improvement through data and feedback
Manage logistics for training events, ensuring all materials and resources are prepared
Localize and adapt external training content to suit the needs of our workforce and environment
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of learning methods and ensure effective delivery practices
Contribute to the learning needs analysis process and support the creation of development roadmaps that align with organizational and individual growth
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Communication, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred-or equivalent relevant experience
3+ years of experience in facilitating, instructing, or delivering training programs
Strong understanding of adult learning principles, human development, instructional design methodologies, and learning analytics
Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences
Ability to analyze needs and design impactful leadership development solutions within scope, budget, and timeline
Experience collaborating cross-functionally and building positive relationships across all levels of an organization
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities
Proven project management capabilities, including problem-solving and timely execution
Proficiency with virtual training tools and platforms
Ability to adapt to various cultural and work environments
Familiarity with training evaluation methodologies to measure learning effectiveness
Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design principles preferred
