Job Title: Morning Truck Unloader & Stock Organizer
Location: Chick-fil-A Hilliard
Reports To: Directors / Kitchen Manager
Position Type: Part-Time / Early Morning Shifts (typically 4:00 AM – 8:00 AM, depending on delivery schedule)
Pay: $16/hr
Chick-fil-A Market of Hilliard is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Morning Truck Unloader & Stock Organizer. This position is responsible for receiving, unloading, and organizing inventory from delivery trucks in the early morning hours to ensure our kitchen is fully stocked and prepared for daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and unload food and supply deliveries in a timely and organized manner
Accurately check delivered items against invoices to ensure all items are accounted for
Safely store and rotate stock according to FIFO (First In, First Out) standards
Organize and maintain inventory in coolers, freezers, dry storage, and paper goods areas
Keep storage areas clean, orderly, and compliant with food safety standards
Communicate any shortages, damages, or discrepancies to leadership
Operate pallet jacks or other equipment safely (if trained and required)
Work efficiently and independently in the early morning environment
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle repetitive physical tasks
Early morning availability (before normal business hours)
Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Willingness to work in a cold storage environment (coolers/freezers)
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Must adhere to all Chick-fil-A food safety and cleanliness standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, or stockroom work
Familiarity with food service inventory is a plus
