**About the Role:**

As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will oversee the operations of a 358,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Columbus, OH, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role includes managing a team of maintenance professionals, driving operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards across both hard and soft services. Additionally, you will provide remote oversight of soft services at a secondary site in Dalton, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing or production environments, with proven experience in safety management, budgeting, and team leadership.

This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Oversee daily operations of a 358,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

+ Provide remote oversight of soft services at a secondary site in Dalton, OH.

+ Lead and manage a team of 4 maintenance personnel, including scheduling, task assignment, cross-training, and performance coaching.

+ Manage work orders and preventive maintenance through CMMS (SI7) to ensure timely resolution.

+ Coordinate and oversee facility repairs, maintenance activities, and capital projects in collaboration with technicians, vendors, and contractors.

+ Maintain vendor relationships and manage services such as uniforms, security, landscaping, and janitorial, including invoicing and procurement of parts, labor, and services.

+ Conduct daily operational briefings, weekly team meetings, and monthly KPI/business reviews with stakeholders.

+ Serve as the primary client-facing liaison for all facility-related matters, maintaining strong client relationships and addressing unresolved issues.

+ Monitor and control operating budgets, prepare variance reports, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

+ Perform facility inspections for quality assurance and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; recommend operational improvements and upgrades.

+ Manage environmental health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment.

+ Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.

+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.

+ Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.

+ Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

**What You’ll Need:**

+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.

+ Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

+ Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

+ Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

+ Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

+ Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $90,000 annually [or $43.27 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $100,000 annually [or $48.08 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
