CDL A OTR Tanker Driver

Drivers 1st is hiring CDL A OTR drivers to haul non-hazardous food-grade tanker freight across regional and long-haul routes. If you’re looking for high earning potential, consistent miles, and well-equipped trucks - this opportunity delivers.

Drivers are typically out for 2-3 weeks at a time and earn 1 day of home time for each week out. Trucks can be taken home, pending approved parking. The freight is primarily drop and hook (85%) with 20% no-touch freight, and zero driver load/unload required.

$1,880 average weekly pay

$97,600 average yearly pay

$1,400 minimum pay guarantee

$3,000 sign-on bonus

Solo driving position - Minimum Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL

Minimum 2 years TT/OTR experience

Must have Tanker Endorsement

2 unemployment gaps in the past 4 years

3 jobs in the last 3 years

2 DOT preventable accidents in 3 years
