Overview of the opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and highly organised Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support a group of bankers ranging from Analyst to Managing Director level, helping them operate at their best while working on high-profile, international transactions. This is a unique opportunity to build close working relationships with senior professionals, gain exposure to the fast-paced world of investment banking, and contribute to the success of a global firm.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Manage busy diaries, schedule client and internal meetings, and coordinate video/conference calls.

Arrange complex domestic and international travel, including visas, transportation, and detailed itineraries.

Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, handling requests with professionalism and discretion.

Process and track expenses using Concur; reconcile AMEX statements promptly.

Provide phone coverage, general administrative support, and assistance on special projects.

Collaborate with and mentor junior team members; provide cover for colleagues when needed.

Partner with bankers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Experience

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A proactive, adaptable, and resourceful approach with a positive, can-do attitude.

Previous experience in a fast-paced professional environment; finance/banking preferred.

High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

A collaborative team player who enjoys supporting others.

Undergraduate degree preferred.

We value in-person collaboration and the close partnership between Assistants and Bankers, so this role is office-based 4–5 days per week (currently at Condor House, 10 Saint Paul’s Churchyard, London EC4M 8AL, relocating to 25 Baker Street, London W1U 8EQ in early 2026).
