POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Wildwood School seeks an organized and dedicated K-12, IT help desk technician. It is an exciting opportunity to offer personal knowledge, skills, and experience to a progressive learning community. The Help Desk Technician is responsible for supporting users with a range of skills and troubleshooting various systems, databases, hardware, and software. This position also offers the opportunity to collaborate with our network administrator and specialized contractors on network-related projects.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in the distribution, deployment, and management of end-user machines and their respective images, including Windows clients, Apple clients, iOS tablets, JAMF MDM, and Blackbaud
Interface with various systems to ensure user access and connectivity to associated web services, file servers and email accounts, printing, and access
Assist in maintaining and organizing department records and asset records
Support AV setup and support needs for key school events and board meetings
Coordinate and manage e-waste collection across both campuses
Provide tier 1- support for help desk services in a timely fashion
Collaborate with other members of the technology team to support the successful delivery of technology services throughout the school
Provide customers with outstanding customer service
General working knowledge of RingCentral VOIP system
Provide support for user issues with Blackbaud's OnCampus (school's LMS/SIS)
Maintain printer and toner supplies throughout both campuses
Handle department deliveries and shipments
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure workstations have a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, phone and any additional specialized equipment as needed
Monitor and program printers and copiers via web console
Order equipment and office supplies as requested
Meet with equipment technicians that come onsite; escort them throughout campus and see them out
Provide support as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in technology, preferably in an educational setting
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering / IT Systems field preferred
Computer Science certifications are a plus

Must be able to travel between both upper and lower campuses
Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs comfortably
Must be able to operate a computer and other related hardware 90% of the workday.
