Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CVPICU RN with an active OH or compact license and strong pediatric critical care experience for a night shift contract.
Responsibilities
Work in the CVPICU (Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU) of a hospital
Primary patient population is pediatric cardiac intensive care
Floating required to NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and med-surg as assigned
12-hour night shifts (19:00-07:30), three shifts per week
Assignment length is 13 weeks
Travelers must comply with all floating requirements and be prepared to receive appropriate assignments in various pediatric units
No local candidates accepted for this RN contract
Timeliness and reliability are emphasized, with strict policies regarding lateness and attendance
No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
Active OH or compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
Two years of pediatric ICU or related critical care experience strongly preferred
Two supervisory references required, including at least one from a supervisor or manager
Must not have worked as permanent staff at the facility within the past two years
Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
