Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Tele position specializing in neuroscience patients and requiring BLS and NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in a 37-bed acute neuroscience department

Patient population includes stroke, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, seizures, and post-neurosurgery cases

Expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6

Night shift (NOC), 12-hour shifts

No on-call responsibilities

Unit focuses on comprehensive neuroscience care including acute stroke and neurological injuries

Requirements

Active RN license required

Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required

At least 2 years of relevant nursing experience preferred

NIHSS certification must be renewed yearly
