Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Charge Nurse for the Emergency Department requiring Massachusetts RN licensure, tele experience, and night shift availability.
Responsibilities
Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
Float between two hospital campuses as required
Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7p to 7a
Every other weekend or rotational weekend shifts are required
Patient population consists of emergency and acute care cases
No on-call responsibilities
Will lead and oversee nursing activities during assigned shifts as Charge RN
Must not have been employed (perm, travel, or PRN) at any Beth Israel facility within the past 6 months
Local candidates residing within 50 miles are not accepted
Holiday coverage may be required as scheduled
Candidates may only be considered for one position within the health system at a time
Requirements
Active MA RN license required at the time of consideration
Minimum of 2 years telemetry experience required
Minimum of 1 year travel nursing experience required
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, TNCC
Must pass a telemetry test on the first day of assignment (study materials provided)
COVID-19 vaccination and booster required, with medical exemptions considered
Flu vaccination required
