Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a minimum of 2 years of ER experience, active MI RN license, and required AHA certifications.
Responsibilities
Work in an Emergency Department setting
13-week contract with 36 hours per week
Day (7a-7:30p) and night (7p-7:30a) shifts, no more than 2 different start times per week
Every other weekend required
Float required within the hospital as needed
Uses T-System for Emergency Department documentation
Paragon/Allscripts used for acute care charting
Bedside shift reporting (BSSR), AIDET, and hourly rounding required
Holiday RTO is limited to one holiday if multiple holidays occur during assignment
Mandatory participation in natural disaster or emergency response activities
Returned employees must have a one-year break after 52 weeks as a traveler
Orientation modules provided and must be completed as directed
Requirements
Active MI RN license required
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA certifications)
TNCC preferred
Fingerprinting required for MI placements
Must not live within 60 miles of the facility
