Responsibilities:
Provide first-line and second-line technical support for IT products, addressing technical issues and providing solutions in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs, system errors, and performance issues for internal users or customers.
L2 Support for multiple applications by oneself and together with the team.
Analyzing the issues and resolving the same, proposing a workaround to maintain business continuity and ensuring minimum business downtime. Identifying the critical issues and taking prompt and effective actions spontaneously.
Discuss with users and prioritize the tickets or enhancement for application releases. Providing Weekly and Monthly incident reports to manager.
Communicate workarounds till the issue/work order gets complete/resolve. Raising issues to development team and working with them closely for permanent fixes.
Test the new features and functionality in the application.
Collaborate with Story owners, business analysts, application architects, deployment team(s) to support fit-for-purpose functions.
Provide training and supporting documentation to end users
Develop working relationships within the wider Eurofins IT community and with internal customers.
Embrace Agile practices.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Personal Skills:
Very good English communication and interpersonal skills in an international environment.
3+ years experience as L2 support engineer.
Self-motivated and driven to achieve professional success in client environment.
Willing to learn new technologies, processes and functional areas.
Technology skills:
Experience in MS SQL programming is preferred.
Experience with Visual Studio environment.
Proficient in using IDE, such as VS2017/2019 or VS Code.
Familiar with Source code management tool, such as TFS (Azure)/Service Now
Will be advantage to know following: -
ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core or C#.
HTML, JSON and Front-end MVC is a plus.
Front-end framework, such as Angular or React.
Qualifications
B.E/B.Tech any equivalent graduation.
