Euronext Market Services (EMS) is the front line for Euronext Cash, Derivatives and Commodities business with four operational centres in Amsterdam, Dublin, Milan and Paris to ensure fair and orderly markets for all Cash, Derivatives and Commodities products, including Corporate Actions, Euronext Indices, Euronext Market Data, Member on boarding and Hosted Commercial Markets. EMS staff and managers have access to all relevant EMS Cash and Derivatives business and technical monitoring tools and make use of integrated EMS tools and procedures across the different EMS locations. EMS operates daily from 06:30-22:30 CET. EMS owns the service delivery to clients.

The intern will join the EMS Market Access team. Market Access Analyst is responsible for granting market Participants access to the Euronext Cash & Derivatives Markets as well as other Euronext Platforms and Services.

Additionally, the Access Analyst provides support to internal and external stakeholders on various Euronext projects and initiatives.

Key Accountabilities

New Customers’ onboarding

Membership configuration

Administration of Trading Members / Market Makers and other Participants

Technical Access delivery

Provide first class support for market authorizations and member access to the Exchange

Provide customers/players team with login information

Administration and execution agent for all client authorizations and registrations across all markets/platforms and environments to both members and vendors

Verify that all market authorization tools/systems are up and running – supporting business continuity

Process accurate and on-time all internal and external verifications/requests/issues

Define or modify Membership/Access procedures

Provide access expertise in projects

Education & Knowledge

University degree or master’s degree. Knowledge of financial markets is essential

Profile

Conceptual knowledge of the following areas: Trade Lifecycle, Exchanges, Compliance, Cash & Derivatives products and Trading Procedures

Has the ability to work in a virtual team across locations to achieve a common goal and to rotate across products/markets

Capable of understanding and interpreting numbers and pricing models

Strong verbal communication skills both internally and externally

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

Proactive attitude to investigating incidents in a team environment

Integrity and confidentiality are key requirements for this role

Good organizational skills and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Excellent command of spoken and written English
