Trust & Estates Attorney

Are you a skilled attorney with 3+ years of experience in trust, estates, and probate law? Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable lawyer to join their team. As a key member of the practice, you will handle a variety of complex matters relating to estate planning, probate administration, and trust management, working closely with clients to ensure their wishes are effectively carried out.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney

Provide legal advice on wealth preservation strategies, tax implications, and asset protection

Represent clients in probate court, handling estate administration, contested wills, and trust litigation

Advise fiduciaries and beneficiaries on the duties and rights within estate and trust administration

Manage guardianship and conservatorship cases

Collaborate with financial planners, accountants, and other professionals to create comprehensive estate plans

Ensure compliance with Ohio probate laws and regulations

Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school

Active bar license in the state of Ohio

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in trust, estates, and probate law

Strong understanding of Ohio's probate code and estate tax laws

Excellent communication and client service skills

Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines with attention to detail

Experience in trust and estate litigation is a plus
