Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Design Management:
o Lead the design and planning process for large-scale residential (group
housing) and commercial projects, ensuring the projects meet the client’s objectives and vision.
o Collaborate with architects, engineers and contractors to define the project’s scope, deliverables, and timelines.
o Develop detailed project plans, including project schedules, resource allocation, and budgets, and ensure that design milestones and deadlines are met.
o Ensure that design documents are comprehensive, accurate, and in compliance with industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
2. Design Implementation and Quality Assurance:
o Ensure that design intent is faithfully translated into construction, resolving any conflicts or issues that arise during the execution phase.
o Review design documents, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and within scope.
o Maintain high standards of design and quality throughout the project,
ensuring compliance with architectural, engineering, and environmental standards.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design revisions, contracts, meeting minutes, and reports.
o Prepare regular project status reports, including updates on design progress, budget status, risk analysis, and any changes in project scope or timelines.
Qualifications: B. Arch / M. Arch
Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge of BIM is a plus.
