ICT Officer

Our client in the hospitality industry seeks to recruit for an ICT Officer.

Job Summary: This role will involve providing technical support, assisting in system maintenance, and ensuring smooth ICT operations across the company.

Key Accountabilities Technical Support Provide daily IT support for staff and guests, ensuring smooth operation of all systems, hardware, and software.

Respond to and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Systems Administration Manage and maintain core hotel systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), telephony, networks, and CRM solutions.

Conduct routine system monitoring, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

Network & Connectivity Ensure reliable internet connectivity and high-quality guest Wi-Fi services.

Monitor and optimize network performance for both business and guest use.

Data Security & Compliance Implement IT security protocols including antivirus, firewalls, backups, and access controls.

Ensure compliance with data protection policies, including PCI standards for payment systems.

Vendor & Asset Management Liaise with vendors and service providers for procurement, maintenance contracts, and technical support.

Maintain an updated inventory of IT hardware, software licenses, and service agreements.

User Training & Support Train staff (and occasionally guests) on effective use of hotel IT systems.

Develop user guides and conduct awareness sessions on IT security practices.

System Maintenance & Innovation Perform regular preventive maintenance and updates on all IT infrastructure.

Keep abreast of emerging hospitality technology trends and recommend improvements to enhance service delivery.

Key Requirements Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field 3+ years' ICT support & management experience Strong knowledge of hotel systems: Opera PMS, Micros POS, Symphony, Sun Systems, MC (Material Control), Back Office, PABX, CCTV, Door Lock Systems, Payroll & HR software How to Apply Qualified candidates to apply via email clearly indicating the position they are applying for on the email subject as “ICT Officer ”by COB 6th October 2025.
