**Job Title: Assembler**

Job Description

This position involves working in a large production facility, testing hydronic cores using a hydronic tester. The role requires flexibility to work in various areas of the shop and a willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct pneumatic testing on electric cores and subassemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.

+ Perform visual inspections and conduct process verification checks based on documented instructions.

+ Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and visual inspections.

+ Identify potential defects and perform other duties as required by supervisors or managers.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in using hand tools such as sockets, wrenches, and screwdrivers.

+ Ability to read a measuring tape (imperial).

+ Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Basic computer skills.

+ Experience in electronics assembly and testing.

+ Experience with AC wiring and using multimeters and electrical clamps.

+ Ability to read schematics or blueprints.

+ Understanding of Wye and Delta phase.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with band saws or drill presses.

+ Previous work experience in similar environments (mechanical or electrical assembly companies).

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a noisy but clean and organized manufacturing department. The facility is transit accessible and features an assembly cell with 4-5 employees, expanding to 10 during the winter. Workers will use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble heaters and electrical harnesses. Shifts are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm, with potential overtime during the busy winter season. The contract is until March, with possibilities for extension or permanent placement. The shop is located at 5918 Roper Rd, Edmonton.

The pay range for this position is $19.30 - $19.30/hr.
