Roller Operator

For additional information about our company visit our website at rnPOSITION SCOPE rnThe Roller Operator must be able to safely operate the finish roller and other heavy equipment in continuous overlapping passes of rolling subgrade and asphalt to desired compaction and smoothness.

This position is based in the Arizona area and requires travel.rnPRIMARY DUTIESrnrnOperate heavy roller equipment to apply asphalt products efficiently to meet job specifications.rnMust be able to work outside for long periods of time in all weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.

rnOperate the Breakdown roller to massage hot mix asphalt into place.rnUsing the Rubber Tire Roller, compress hot mix asphalt to desired compaction.rnOperate the Finish Roller in successive overlapping passes to apply final finish, and remove imperfections with a finish roller.rnOperate Pad Foot Roller, using vibrate when necessary, until ground surface is hard.rnOperate Smooth Drum Roller, to seal subgrade and base surfaces.rnThe use of hand tools such as shovels, rakes, etc.
