Consumer Cash Processing Specialist

The Consumer Cash Processing department at one of the largest, rapidly growing banks in the Midwest is looking to add support to their team! This team manages the day to day servicing for all loans secured by vehicles, RV, powersports and watercrafts, etc. This is a fast paced and regulated environment.

+ Pay: $20.00/hour

+ Shift: 8:00AM-5:00PM (M-F)

+ Office located in Westerville, OH (MUST be located in the Columbus, OH area)

Job Functions:

+ Perform various assignments within the Consumer Cash Team that includes processing payoff checks for installment loans, opening distributing mail and other processes within the department from routine to moderately complex across multiple systems.

+ Process and reconcile loan payments including debits and credits according to established guidelines and procedures.

+ Review and analyze loan payment transaction history to correct or address payment anomalies.

+ Work with insurance companies to discuss proposed settlements offered to release vehicle titles when dealing with totaled vehicles.

+ Process a large volume of payments daily.

+ Prioritize tasks in compliance with production goals and deadlines.

+ Correspond with internal and external customers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2-3+ years banking or financial administrative experience (or educational equivalent)

+ OR educational equivalent (bachelor's in business, finance, economics, etc.)

+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Office

+ Excellent time management skills

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Reliable/ability to work in-office 5 days/week

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
