We are transforming the way we do business by changing how we think about the different types of Customer Journeys. Omnichannel will provide a consistent experience for our customers, regardless of how they chose to do business with us (online banking, branch locations, ATM's, phone support). The goal of Omnichannel is to align our people, processes, products & services, and technology across our enterprise to deliver new modern capabilities in an Agile and Iterative way.

We are in the beginning stages of building this newly defined Omnichannel program with cross-functional team members. This team will lay the foundation for what the Customer Journeys are and how we will deliver exceptional, streamlined experiences for each one. If you are a pioneer at heart who enjoys data-driven decisions that take our customers' feedback and intertwines creativity to define what the solutions should be, we want to hear more.

As an Interaction Designer, you are the sweet-spot finder between user needs and business goals for a wide portfolio of digital projects. You have the opportunity to design solutions our customers use daily to manage their financial well-being.

Detailed Description:

In this role, you will:

Leverage a user-centered design process to design multi-channel experiences, including responsive web and mobile app, for retail/business customers and colleagues

Collaborate with UX teammates, business/product managers, brand managers, IT teams, analytics teams, and digital leadership to solve complex problems

Lead UX project teams to ensure that solutions meet project objectives and deliver a quality user experience

Oversee project definition and discovery, provide strategic insights, manage timelines, coordinate design activities, and ensure timely work product delivery

Identify user types, define their journey, and uncover their needs

Translate user, business and technical requirements into information architecture diagrams (mental models, storyboards, process/page flows, site maps, etc.)

Create low-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and detailed specifications to inform requirements discussions and support research activities

Organize work product presentations and feedback sessions with design peers, business partners, project sponsors, digital leadership, and executives

Support the growth and evolution of the Interaction Design team and the greater UX Design team

Learn how people think about managing their financial well-being and how they interact with brands to do so

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

Minimum 3 years of experience in designing and testing digital experiences

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of the user-centered design process and UX best practices

Experience with responsive web design, mobile app design, and mobile first approach

Proficiency in Axure RP (or a similar tool) creating flows, IA models, sitemaps, wireframes, detailed specifications, and prototypes

Understanding of nuances between the most pervasive devices/platforms including smart devices, phone, tablet, desktop, Android and iOS

Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and accessibility best practices for users with visual, cognitive, perceptual, and physical disabilities, both temporary and permanent

A Clear understanding of specialized UX skillsets including experience strategy, design research, interaction design, visual design, content strategy, front-end UI development

Ability to communicate design principles and rationale to other parts of the business.

Capable of organizing a team, maintaining optimism, and facilitating towards alignment with partners

Comfortable with ambiguity early in projects and able to take a leading role in driving towards a solution

Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and demonstrate a mature ability to manage time

Willingness to be flexible and shift priorities to accommodate business needs

Enthusiasm for developing working relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization

Experience with agile and waterfall IT development environments, preferably within a large enterprise
