Job Description -
As a User Experience Designer Contractor you will work with the User Experience Research & Design team to research and design interfaces for metric dashboards and web application products. You will collaborate closely with other designers, product owners, and development teams to design interfaces and interaction across multiple products within the client Digital application portfolio.
Responsibilities to anticipate:
Partner with product owners, stakeholders, architects, developers, and (of course!) users to deliver optimal user experiences for applications and metric solutions.
Conduct, analyze, and organize user research, document user goals, decisions, information needs, tasks, and workflows.
Plan, execute, and extract insights for:
User and stakeholder interviews
Personas and Jobs to Be Done (JTBDs)
Usability evaluations and assessments
Storyboards, journey maps, user flows, and wireframes
Design artifacts for communication, specification, and testing
Design solutions; mockup and prototype interactions
A focus on modular reusable design
Write Agile development user stories
Communicate and present work effectively
Support the broader UX team in identifying and implementing UX best practices and accessibility standards
Champion user-centered design and design thinking methodologies Qualifications you must have:
5+ years of experience as a User Experience (UX) designer, interaction designer (UI), or similar role
Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design/prototyping tools
An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience Qualifications we value:
