Position Overview

We are a General Contractor seeking a skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. We do a wide variety of work, including both ground-up and TI/Renovation work, and our projects range from bigger public works, to multi-family, to single family homes, to commercial work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of commercial construction processes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations on construction sites

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and labor crews

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes

Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders

Manage project budgets and schedules effectively

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met

Resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project owners to ensure project specifications are met

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction

Strong knowledge of construction methods and procedures

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Proficiency in project management software

Relevant certifications in construction management or related fields

Nice to have: Experience in ground-up construction, renovations, tenant improvements, single-family residences, public works, and multi-family residences
