Position Summary:

Stationary Engineers are responsible for maintaining the equipment, boilers, aesthetics, machinery, etc. This position's purpose is to respond and assist on job assignments, including, but not limited to the repair, installation, and preventive maintenance of all equipment and related components as directed.

Essential Functions:

1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.

2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.

3. Perform all repairs, maintenance and part replacements to maintain the property's operation in

accordance to their job qualifications and training; including, but not limited to: latches and complete minor door or cabinet hardware repairs, televisions, electrical system repairs, toil, plumbing fixtures and pipe repairs, bathroom fixture clogs using electrical snake, plunger, or water jet equipment, incandescent, fluorescent and LED light bulbs and fixtures, crystal, diffusers, and reflectors.

4. Make necessary repairs with and without supervision to maintain the property's operations and

performs preventive maintenance in accordance to manufacture specifications. Make informed

decisions and communicate to Facilities Management regarding repair/replacement of major fixed

asset equipment.

5. Perform preventive maintenance in accordance to their job qualifications and training.

6. Respond to all internal and external guest complaints promptly and efficiently to avoid guest

inconvenience or discomfort.

7. Become thoroughly familiar with all systems throughout the property.

8. Ensure that all established rules, regulations, policies, and procedures are strictly adhered to.

9. Request supplies and materials as needed to make repairs. Formulate bill of materials to accomplish tasks, as needed.

10. Have knowledge of SDS booklet location for your area.

11. Be familiar with OSHA safety codes regarding chemicals and electrical equipment.

12. Complete property exterior and interior maintenance inspections.

13. Make offsite trips to pick up and drop off supplies and materials, as directed, with company vehicle.

14. Create and complete work orders in accordance to department and property guidelines and standards.

15. Accurately record all pertinent data, on required logs, lists and manifests.

16. Maintain all maintenance equipment and tools escalating issues with tools or equipment to the Chief Engineer of Facilities Management for resolution.

17. Display good judgment and ability to make decisions that are in the best interest of the organization and its guests.

Required Qualifications:

1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.

2. Must have active and up to date certifications in the following, forklift, scissor lift and Low Voltage Electrical, or the ability to obtain one.

3. Knowledge and working understanding of the safe and proper use of equipment or power and hand tools; or the ability to obtain training before performing work that requires the use of equipment or power and hand tools.

4. Ability to efficiently complete tasks in a timely, accurate, and effective manner.

5. Ability to develop positive working relationships with internal guest through open communication, timely and accurate job completion.

6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical specifications, etc.

7. Must be at least 21 years of age.

8. Must be proficient ("Journeyman" level) in two building trades or demonstrate "Master" level in one specific trade.

9. Must be able to obtain a score of 80% or higher on Stationary Engineer Assessment.

Physical Requirements:

1. Standing: up to 80-100%, Requires the physical ability to stand and walk for duration of shift.

2. Walking: up to 80-100% of the shift/day

3. Sitting: up to 15-20% of the shift/day

4. Bending: up to 80-100%, bending, stooping, and reaching from floor level.

5. Twisting: up to 80-100% of the shift/day

6. Climbing, including ladders: up to 80-100%, crawling in attic areas, climbing ladders and stairs.

7. Kneeling: up to 30-40% of the shift/day

8. Squatting: up to 50-75% of the shift/day

9. Lift/Carry/Push/Pull: up to 80-100%, Requires hand/eye coordination and depth perception and ability to maneuver large loads weighing up to 75 pounds with or without assistance.

10. Reaching above the shoulders and other hand arm use: up to 80-100% of the shift/day

11. Manual dexterity: up to 80-100% to operate job related equipment.

Work Conditions:

Work is typically in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain secondhand smoke. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. wide access. Tasks performed from a sitting or non- sitting position. Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.
