POSITION SUMMARY
The Food & Beverage Area Supervisor is responsible for supervision of all aspects of daily operation for assigned areas and Team Members within the park, ensuring park values and daily goals are achieved, while also ensuring Team Members exceed guest's expectation by efficiently preparing, taking, checking and distributing each guest's order in a manner consistent with our company values.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Train workers in food preparation, and in service, sanitation, and safety procedures
Resolve customer complaints regarding food service
Supervise and participate in kitchen and dining area cleaning activities
Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service, as well as complete disciplinary write-ups
Perform various financial activities such as cash handling and payroll
Assign duties, responsibilities and work stations to employees in accordance with work requirements
Analyze operational problems, such as theft and waste, and establish procedures to alleviate these problems
Perform personnel actions, such as hiring staff, providing Team Member orientation and training, and conducting supervisory activities, such as creating work schedules
Completes all applicable department paperwork accurately and thoroughly
Maintain departmental objectives, budgets, policies, procedures, and strategies in regards to cost of sales, labor and per cap
Ensure assigned locations are staffed properly and open and close at their scheduled times
Recommend measures for improving work procedures and worker performance to increase service quality and enhance job safety
Assist in weekly inventories
Protect company assets: money, merchandise, and equipment. Maintain accurate records and loss prevention techniques by reporting any shoplifting, counterfeit bills, or any other activities that may be detrimental to the park
Must be willing and able to handle sensitive information and accurately account for cash and credit transactions
Monitor the proper labeling and storing of food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage to ensure the freshest product is being served
Must be willing to work outside of his or her zone of assignment to fulfill general park needs on occasion
Ensure compliance with all Herschend Family Entertainment and Wild Adventures policies and procedures
Represents the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner
Satisfies Wild Adventures' standards for performance and conduct. For example, reports to work regularly and on time

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The position requires indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions and in the presence of dust and odors. Team Members are susceptible to exposure of various chemicals, bodily fluids, blood-borne pathogens, and prolonged exposure to sunlight.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
EDUCATION: High School Education or GED required
EXPERIENCE: 3 plus years of experience in Food and Beverage, customer service or leadership
COMPUTER SKILLS: General understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Must be able to operate and understand the park's point of sale, inventory system, and back-of-house operations of the point of sale
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES: An offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate's successful completion of the Georgia Certified Work Ready assessment silver level and ServSafe Manager Certification course
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 16 years of age
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Must be available to work days, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
Must have reliable transportation
