Minimum Requirements:

• Active Secret Clearance

• BS/BA in degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science

• OR Certified Information Systems Security Officer (CISSO) certification ( within 60 days of hire (other certifications can be approved in lieu of CISSO)

• Minimum of 3 years of cyber security experience with emphasis on cybersecurity course training development and 3 years of experience with SIEM/IDS/IPS (Elastic Stack, Splunk, HBSS, or equivalent)

• Strong background /familiarity with Windows and Linux command line, networking, traffic analysis and MITRE ATT&CK

• Experience working on a cybersecurity team, such as a Security Operations Center (SOC), Cyber Protection Team (CPT) or Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP)

• Ability to work onsite in Colorado Springs CO

Duties & Responsibilities:

• As an experienced Cybersecurity Instructor/Curriculum Developer, you will be expected to:

• Design and develop training objectives, curricula, instructor guides, student guides, job aids, course outlines, and other course material utilizing instructional design models

• Consult with client to develop learning objectives and training approach

• Research, analyze, design, develop, and customize instructional materials to potentially support WBT (Web-Based Training)/CBT (Computer-Based Training)/ILT (Instructor-Led Training)

• Apply various instructional strategies, models, and theories to develop learning content to enhance learning transfer and greater on-the-job performance

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure impactful, relevant course content and supporting training range

• Present/Instruct developed courseware

• Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Salary range:

$115,000.00 - $129,000.00
