RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform safely the assigned tests, including sample preparation where applicable.
* Perform the required administrative tasks.
* Perform routine maintenance of instruments.
* Participate in general good housekeeping of the lab.
* Actively participate in the safety program of the site and R&T * Verify data results in LIMS system.
* Perform specific general tasks in the lab as assigned.
Required Qualifications * BS in Chemistry or related field (associate's degree with minimum 2years industry experience) * 2 years' work experience in quality control laboratory or manufacturing environment * Must be willing to work the DuPont schedule (12 hour rotating 6:00 - 6:00 rotating days and nights) * Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills * Demonstrate a safety-first mindset * Effective communication and listening skills * Able to handle fast-paced and high-volume environment and resolve issues Physical Demands * Must be able to work in a chemical laboratory, which requires standing for 50% or more of the time * Must be able to physically operate lab equipment * Must be able to lift and carry 15-20 pounds LONG TERM MAINTENANCE PROJECT - NO PER DIEM Journeyman * Typically 3 years and above documented field experience in chosen craft discipline with ability to read and interpret instructions and document, plan and perform work activities independently.
Characteristics Key Focus * Carry out assigned analytical techniques and/or performance tests on catalysts and related samples * Track control sample data for quality assurance purposes.
