Join Our Team at Capitol City Produce!
We're looking for a motivated and dependable Day Receiving Forklift Operator to join our Day Warehouse team in Robertsdale, AL. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, staying organized, and keeping operations running smoothly, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do
Receive and move produce from the dock to designated coolers
Use the Produce Pro system to scan and process pallets
Organize, rotate, and maintain product freshness in coolers daily
Verify incoming produce and apply proper labeling
Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
Support food safety standards and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Forklift operating experience (preferred)
Experience in receiving/warehouse operations (preferred)
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Willingness to work weekends and overtime
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and move up to 200 lbs with assistance
Comfortable working in varying temperatures (34 F in coolers to 95 F+ outdoors)
Reliable transportation
