POSITION OVERVIEW
The BSA Analyst I role will be a contributing member of the BSA Department's Transaction Monitoring/SAR Team and is responsible for the timely and thorough review of alerts and CTRs. The main objective of this role is to appropriately complete alerts, file currency transaction reports, and ensure all necessary customer information and documentation is obtained as required by existing policies and procedures.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze transactions to determine if they are suspicious in nature and escalate for potential SAR filing and maintain proper documentation.
Assist in the preparation and submission of all Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) within the regulatory requirements.
Assist the TM/SAR Team Lead and senior analysts on various tasks, as delegated.
Communicate with branch operations to obtain additional account information or documentation.
Ensure compliance to the Bank's Customer Information Program by verifying the existence of required new customer information.
Complies fully with all Bank policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Anti Money Laundering, Code of Conduct, and etc.).
Complete all required bank training by assigned due dates.
Other duties may be assigned by the BSA Officer.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
High standard of professionalism, confidentiality and security.
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Well-organized, analytical and capable of performing multiple tasks.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Knowledge of BAM/BAM+ and FIS IBS applications are a plus.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in related fields of criminology, business, accounting or equivalent experience/certification is preferred but not required.
BSA/AML compliance or branch operations experience is preferred.

Hourly and salary ranges are determined based on qualifications, level, and location. Exact compensation may vary based on your skills and experience.
