Aircraft Fuel Cell Technicians (Class B)

Tank Tigers, an STS Aviation Group company, is actively hiring experienced Aircraft Fuel Cell Technicians (Class B) to join our growing team in Jamaica, New York. Position Overview:

As a Class B Aircraft Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work on aircraft fuel tanks and related systems. This includes preventative maintenance and alterations in compliance with all applicable manuals and FAA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform assigned fuel system maintenance tasks according to manuals and safety standards

Ensure work is performed in proper sequence with timely inspections requested

Maintain detailed records of work performed and complete required documentation

Operate within the guidelines of FAA Part 145 and Part 43 regulations

Request and track necessary parts and materials

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Communicate safety concerns and unairworthy conditions to supervisors

Accurately log time and report on assigned tasks

Work in confined spaces and maintain schedule flexibility

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 calendar years of aircraft maintenance experience

Demonstrated ability to perform fuel system maintenance

Familiarity with FAA regulatory requirements (Part 145 and Part 43)

Must not require certification under 14 CFR Part 65

Must not be assigned supervisory, management, or inspection duties
