Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Genetec Operator to support our customer by managing day-to-day access control operations within the Genetec Security Center platform. This individual will be responsible for administering access cards, addressing tenant access issues, running system reports, and ensuring smooth building operations for all tenants and staff. The role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve access-related issues in a timely and professional manner. Create, modify, and deactivate access cards for employees, tenants, and contractors in the Genetec Security Center system. * Assign appropriate access levels and permissions based on customer and tenant requirements. * Tenant Support & Issue Resolution: *
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants experiencing access issues. * Troubleshoot and resolve access-related problems promptly, escalating to technical staff as needed * System Reporting: *
Generate and deliver scheduled and ad hoc reports for the customer, including access activity, audit logs, and compliance reports. * Maintain accurate documentation of all access changes and system updates. * Customer Interaction: *
Communicate professionally with building tenants, property management, and security staff regarding access requests and issues. * Provide training or guidance to end users on proper use of access credentials when necessary. * Compliance: *
Ensure all access control operations adhere to customer policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements. * Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive tenant and access data. Minimum Qualifications * Experience working with access control systems (Genetec Security Center experience strongly preferred). * Strong computer literacy, including database management and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. * Experience in a security operations center, property management, or corporate security environment. * Familiarity with building tenant operations and security protocols. Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM * May require occasional evening or weekend support based on building or customer needs. Pay Rate: $25-$30/hr
