Job Description

We are seeking a Cardiac Step Down Nurse to provide exceptional nursing care to patients in a cardiac intermediate care unit. This role involves working with acutely ill patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and cardiac rhythms.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Provide patient education and support to patients and their families.

Document patient care and communicate effectively with team members.

Assist with procedures and maintain a safe, clean environment for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a similar setting.

Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Active Virginia/Compact Nursing License required at time of application.

Prior travel experience is required.
