Position Summary:

Alamon, Inc. is pleased to offer you the position of Dig Safe Coordinator for its Utility's East department.

This position entails: Dig Safe Coordinator will be responsible for managing and complying with Dig Safe requirements to successfully assist the Utilities East Department in their day-to-day operations. The Dig Safe Coordinator will work to manage and prevent accidental damage to underground utilities during the excavation process of wooden utility poles. The Dig Safe Coordinator will be great at multitasking, have excellent problem-solving skills, and is fluent in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Job Description:

Perform project and data entry.

Enter Dig Safe data into the Dig Safe website and upload required documentation.

Create support tickets.

Communicate with managers, supervisors and safety regarding any issues or situations that arise.

Assist with customer support requests.

Create and manage reports.

Perform additional various tasks to support the department and operations manager.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

Ability to work at a fast pace and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

Willingness to learn new software programs.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite with extensive knowledge of Excel and Word.

Proficient with the Google Workspace Suite including Google Chrome, Gmail, Google Sheets and Google Docs.

Excellence at typed, written and verbal communication.

Ability to compile spreadsheet data.

A willingness to continually adapt, change, and learn as tasks are assigned, business scope changes and the company grows.

Ability to identify concerns or make appropriate inquiries to obtain information.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Work Environment:

This is a remote position, a home office setup with reliable phone and internet access is required.

Physical Demands:

Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time.

Must be comfortable making and taking phone calls.

Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.

Carry or lift a minimum of 25lbs.

Travel Requirements:

Travel may be required when necessary.

Education and Experience:

Highschool Diploma or GED Preferred
