Must-Have:
Strong neuro/ortho spine & craniotomy experience
Experience with procedures ranging from simple one-level to complex ten+ levels
Experience with spine tumors, neuro trauma, and DBS procedures
Description:
The position requires a registered nurse for the Neuro Operating Room.
Nurses must possess strong knowledge and experience in neuro and orthopedic spine procedures.
The role involves managing cases that include simple one-level procedures as well as complex ten+ level surgeries.
The expected number of cases per day is 45-60.
Floating to other service lines will occur when neuro cases are not running.
Weekday on-call will consist of two 8-hour shifts as scheduled.
Weekend on-call will require three 12-hour shifts as scheduled.
There is a 45-minute response time for call.
Scrubs will be provided for all shifts.
Experience in neuro trauma and DBS procedures is essential for successful candidates.
