Anticipated Human Resources Manager JobID: 726 Position Type: Administration/Supervisors Date Posted: 9/18/2025 Location: Board Office Date Available: 11/11/2025 Closing Date: 09/25/2025 Additional Information: Show/Hide The following anticipated vacancy exists in the Branchburg Township School District: Anticipated Human Resources Manager Branchburg Board of Education Start Date: November 11, 2025 (or as soon as possible) - June 30, 2026 Qualifications: * Master's degree in Human Resources preferred * Minimum of 5 years' experience in public school Human Resources * Highly developed interpersonal skills * Knowledge of the laws, regulations, and procedures governing employment in the public sector * Knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems Job Responsibilities: * Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and staffing to meet district needs.

* Maintain updated record of staff assignments by school, grade level and department to identify shortages or staffing needs to administrators.

* Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and support a diverse, high-quality workforce.

* Work collaboratively with administrators to maintain a current database of all required components within the evaluation system.

* Ensure compliance with state certification requirements, personnel policies, and negotiated agreements.

* Manage HR systems, personnel records, and state reporting.

* Advise administrators on employee relations, contract administration, and compliance with employment law.

* Coordinate staff orientations and training as needed for employees and administrators.

* Support labor relations, including contract negotiations and administration.

* Research and recommend competitive compensation, benefits, and staffing practices.

* Monitor and coordinate employee leaves (FMLA, NJFLA, etc.) and ensure compliance with all regulations.

* Promote employee engagement, recognition, and well-being initiatives.

Compensation: $75,000-$95,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Benefits: This is a benefits-eligible position.

Paid Time Off: Sick, Personal, Critical Family Illness, Vacation, and Bereavement Days are included.

Paid Time Off will be prorated based on months worked in the 2025-2026 school year.
