Non CDL Driver

Staffmark Drivers is seeking experienced Non-CDL Box Truck Drivers in Indianapolis, IN, to join our team! This is a direct-hire opportunity delivering furniture to residential locations with the added benefit of being home daily.

Pay: $20/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM start, 10-12 hour shifts (days vary based on customer needs)

Job Details:

Routes: Home daily, delivering furniture from Wayfair to residential locations

Touch Freight Furniture delivery and assembly as needed

Unload/Load: Drivers load their own truck; assist with deliveries and assembly at customer sites

Lifting: Frequent lifting and handling of furniture; ability to climb stairs required

Vehicle Type: 26 ft Box Truck

Job Duties:

Perform required vehicle safety inspections before, during, and after dispatch

Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of truck

Represent Staffmark in a professional and positive manner

Read and interpret delivery instructions and exception forms

Complete deliveries on schedule while providing excellent customer service

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of Non-CDL box truck driving experience within the last 3 years; 2+ years furniture delivery experience preferred

Valid DOT Medical Card (reimbursed after 90 days with good performance)

Acceptable MVR and ability to pass pre-employment screening(s)

Able to lift and carry furniture safely and climb stairs as needed

21+ years of age

Strong communication and customer service skills
