Summer 2026 Graduate (MS/PhD) Process Technology Intern

Summary:

As a Process Technology Intern, you will support the modernization of lab and pilot-scale facilities while contributing to new product introductions and process improvements. You will work hands-on with equipment assessments, software transitions, and workflow optimization, gaining exposure to technical documentation, cross-functional collaboration, and innovation in chemical manufacturing.

Responsibilities Include:

Modernization of Process Technology Labs/Pilot Facilities

Develop comprehensive list of current equipment capabilities, location and age

Develop plan for modernization, replacement and upgrades of technical equipment with budgetary estimates

Integrate new business application processes (non SAP)

Assist in implementation of new software solutions for workflows, lab records and tracking systems

Build training documentation, onboarding plans and do a gap assessment on goals of switchover

NPIs, Process Improvements and Translations

Assist scientists with scale ups, documentation, workflows, data, and technical support for new product introductions and translations

Explore alternatives catalysts for hydride fluid manufacturing

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

Currently pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.

Data analysis skills and a minimum of intermediate mastery of Microsoft applications

Ability to work in a dynamic, team-focused environment with time bound deliverables.

Program Qualifications:

The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.

The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.

What We Offer:

Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00
