POSITION SUMMARY:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergency, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physician's practice.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Graduation certificate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program, required
Current state licensure, required
BLS/CPR certification, preferred
QUALIFICATIONS:
Willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Highly organized and detail oriented; particularly in regard to time management
Ability to prioritize key objectives while performing daily tasks as well as the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to effectively utilize applicable electronic systems and programs
WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
