As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dynamic Bilingual (English & Spanish) Human Resources Generalist to join their team.
Job Summary
The Bilingual Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in supporting the HR department's day-to-day operations. This position requires fluency in both English and Spanish and involves responsibilities across recruiting, onboarding, workforce development, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of fostering effective communication across a diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and publish job postings across appropriate platforms
Track and report on recruiting and onboarding activity, including key metrics and progress updates to department managers
Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements and desired skillsets
Coordinate pre-employment testing and employee onboarding processes
Conduct background and reference checks
Translate documents, policies, and verbal communication between English and Spanish as needed
Serve as a point of contact for employee and supervisor inquiries related to HR matters
Maintain and update personnel files and HRIS records
Support the administration of HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave management, employee relations, performance management, and safety initiatives
Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Stay informed of industry trends, changes in employment law, and HR best practices
Perform additional HR-related duties as needed to support business goalsQualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bilingual in English and Spanish (oral and written communication)
Minimum of 5 years of HR and recruiting experience, preferably within construction or manufacturing industries
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms; experience with UKG Ready strongly preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
